Grassroots Stage – 3pm
Purity and potency testing labs have brought a new level of accountability to the Cannabis industry. These labs have the responsibility of ensuring quality control at the point that our recreational and medicinal Cannabis products move to the consumer yet the Cannabis purity and potency testing still has long journey to standardization. Additionally, these labs cannot be the sole factor driving our Cannabis agriculture toward a clean, quality product. As consumer trends in Cannabis move towards concentrates, clean growing and processing practices take on even greater urgency. How do we create standards of quality though-out production, processing, and testing to ensure a clean product? How can we support the farmer in addressing the challenges they face in cultivating cleanly?
