The inaugural Yes We Cann! Community Parade took place in 2015, marching proudly through Eureka, California, and culminating in the historic Cannifest. For the cannabis cultivators of Humboldt, reclaiming the name "Farmer" has been a continuous journey toward acceptance and recognition. Just like moving from a place of discrimination to embrace authenticity, our community has emerged from the shadows and into the light, no longer needing to conceal our identity from the public. Finding courage in unity, we have discovered a sense of belonging, where together, we feel at home.

Our primary mission is to foster a welcoming space for cannabis patients, farmers, consumers, local businesses, and neighboring communities to engage, exchange ideas, and learn from one another. In unity, we strive to shape a brighter future that benefits everyone. Taking the parade to Eureka marks a natural evolution in our pursuit of creating an annual event that embodies this spirit of acceptance and celebration.
