What is Cannifest?
The world is changing and Cannabis culture is changing with it. This festival is a celebration of one of our most cherished agricultural crops, which at this tremendous point in history gives us a chance to build a future for sustainable cannabis agriculture in our community. Cannifest is a conduit to stand united, be proud of our heritage and come together around the things that have divided us in the past. Cannifest is also the kickoff event for Humboldt Green Week, celebrating all things green the week of Earth day and our Cannabis holiday, 4/20!
“It’s important to see cannabis as our fuel, it’s our grandest opportunity to weave the ideals & lifestyle that we live by into the fabric of society… It doesn’t happen too often, especially with businesses. But this cannabis revolution is our chance to instill a different lifestyle to make the world a better place, through our actions as humans, as our practices as businesses, as healers, providers, farmers, leaders.”
– Stephen Gieder, Executive Director, Humboldt Green
Cannifest features vendors selling wares, Area 215 cannabis smoking area, 5 stages of Live Music & a Silent Disco, and the Family Interactive Zone for whole family fun. Let’s not forget an instant classic, the Humboldt Grow Games, where farmer’s skills are tested. The first 215 people who gets into Area 215 (the 21+ cannabis smoking area) can opt to judge in the Cannifest Community Choice Bowl and let their voice be heard.
This is why we like to call it Cannifest: Humboldt’s Manifest Cannabis Festival & Trade Gathering
Musical headliners include Fishbone, Phutureprimitive, Prezident Brown, Gabby Ranks, and Chali 2na feat. Object Heavy.
Last year’s Cannifest was voted Best of Humboldt by the Community. We will take that has a vote of confidence that we are headed in the right direction and make this years event better than ever before. Join us in making Cannifest a shared experience with the whole community.
